Riverside Golf Results for w/c March 16th 2025
Sunday the 16th required two Grades, in the Medley Stableford, with a fantastic score from Tom Grigg winning A Grade, followed by runner up, Peter Ellery.
Larry Simonetta was pleased with his game, taking home the win in B Grade, in front of a group of three, who battled it out for second place. Tom Till used his luck to be on top in the countback, over Hayden Cook (Mildura) and Nic Cairns.
Sunday’s Medley Stableford : A Grade – Tom Grigg 41 point, runner up Peter Ellery 40 points.
B Grade – Larry Simonetta 39 points, runner up Tom Till 38 points on a countback from Hayden Cook and Nic Cairns.
Balls – A Grade (7) 34 point on countback, B Grade (7) 35 points on a countback.
Eagle : Josh Fleming – Par five 11th.
NTP’s : Zilzie Wines 4th – Travis Jobson 420cm, 7th – Paul Dominelli 149cm and 18th – Mick Hawtin 120cm.
Monday’s Medley Stableford played out well for David Lloyd, with a fine win, over Travis Biddle who picked up second place.

Chitra Rankin had a great day in the Ladies nine Hole Stableford on Tuesday, leaving a winner and collecting the only NTP.

The Men played for their Monthly Award on Wednesday, with the overall winner, Ayaka Kirirua, totally in sync with his game, smashing out a massive score to breeze through, well ahead of the field.
David Lloyd is right on target with his game at present, pocketing a second win for the week, landing the top score in A Grade, but not before a countback against Brendan Bower, who grabbed second place and Jordan Appleby, who was left wondering.
B Grade had the same set of circumstances, with a three way countback handing Ray Cottle the win, Kevin Eastwood runner up and Nino Zappia just missing the cut.
Wednesday’s Men’s Monthly Award : Winner Ayaka Kirirua (79/62).
A Grade – David Lloyd (84/70) on a countback, runner up Brendan Bower (85/70) on a countback from Jordan Appleby (84/70).
B Grade – Ray Cottle (92/71) on a count back, runner up Kevin Eastwood (101/71) on a countback from Nino Zappia ( 94/71).

Thursday was Stroke for the Ladies, in their first Monthly Medal and Putting comp for the season. Sue Lim (Highcombe GC) walked away with the overall win, but not being a member, unable to win the Medal. This reward went the way of Pat Riordan, after a steady round, with Caroline James just on behind, in second place.

Aaron Cumming played a very pleasing game in Friday’s nine hole Medley Stableford, seizing the win, over runner up Geoff Plant, after a count back against Luke Bergen.

Wendy Dawson proved to be a Winner, in many area’s on Saturday, but on the Fairways she just scraped in to collect the Monthly Award in the Ladies Stroke event.

It was three Grades for Saturday’s Monthly Medal and Simon Dale came in with a superb win in A Grade, four shots in front of Alexander Spooner in second place.
A countback was required to split winner, Chris Curley from Seb Raiti in B Grade, with both producing very good rounds.
The C Grade comp saw Ian Davis bring home a lovely win, a couple in front of Todd George, who left with the runner up prize.

B Grade – Chris Curley (83/71)on a countback, from runner up Seb Raiti (88/71).
