Riverside Golf Results for w/c January 28th 2026
Sunday the 28th saw a large field battling out 18 Holes of Golf on a rather Hot day. It was the Mildura Meat Co Ambrose in three’s, with the Lucky winner and place getters claiming the much sort after, Meat Packs.
The Winning team of Mitchell Christensen, Oscar Baumgurtel and Bailey Anderson produced a stunning score of 55.167 nett, with runner’s up, Joel Doherty, Cooper Mitchell and Zach Wilson very close behind after a fantastic round of 55.83.
The team of Lyn Thompson, Salli Doherty and Wendy Dawson came in with the winning Ladies score, of a very pleasing 62.83.
Monday and Tuesday saw the Course being closed due to the extremely Hot weather.
Michael Condidorio took out the Stableford on Wednesday, with an excellent 41 points. It was a three way countback for second place, which went to Grant Gidding, over Oliver Cooper and Malcolm Kalms, all on 37 points.
With the Summer Open being contested on Saturday and Sunday, many players took the option to keep cool and save themselves for the weekends battle.
Saturday and Sunday’s Daily comp for the Ladies brought in some great scores, particularly considering the temperature on Saturday.
Jenny Stevenson was the winner on Saturday with a brilliant (77/69), in front of Maree Irvin, who would have been pretty happy with her (94/71).
The only NTP went to Lee Bottomley on the 7th ??
Sunday was a winner for Jodene Tuau, going one better finishing on an outstanding (86/68), comfortably in front her nearest rival and runner up, Salli Fox’s (90/75).

The overall scores for the Ladies Summer Open were :
Scratch : Winner – Jenny Stevenson (77-83=160), Runner up – Lisa Garioch (83-87 =170).
Handicap : Winner – Jenny Stevenson (69-75=144), Runner up – Jodene Tuau (79/68=147).
The Men’s field was broken into four Grades, with 115 players taking part.

C Grade : Winner on a countback – Todd George (85-67), Runner up – Jayden Boehm (82-67).
D Grade : Winner – Archie Droffelaar (91-63), Runner Up – Gavin Jackson (91 -69).

Eagles on the day came from Geoff Tandy on the Par five 11th, Brendan Rowse – Par five 11th, Craig Jervies – Par five 14th and Aaron Clarke – Par five 14th.
