Riverside Golf Results for w/c December 2nd 2024
Riverside Ladies enjoyed a nine hole Par on Tuesday December 3rd and Meg Hamence played well enough to take home the win on a (+1).
NTP’s were : 12th – Pat Riordan and 18th – Verna Wakefield.
Wednesday was a Stableford for the Members and Visitors in two Grades.
Jason Marks was the A Grade winner, on a fine 39pts, over Michael Baynes (Coomealla) 38pts.
Jeff Riordan’s win was determined by a count back, with Brother, George having to settle for second place, after both completed their rounds on 36pts. Balls went out to 34pts on a count back.
NTP’s were : 4th – Stephen Smith 345cm, Cookes Pools and Spa’s 7th – Bodan Bishop 190cm, 12th – Michael Baynes 400cm, Sunbeam Fruits 17th – Mark Golding 315cm and Deakin Estate Wines – Michael Baynes 315cm.
Thursday the Ladies had their Christmas Wind up and Presentation Day, with the event a Triple Six Stableford. The Team of Caroline James, Lirlene Crozier and Rose Gilardi, had a massive score of 88pts, so well played Ladies. Runner up went to Lisa Garioch, Tracy Lee and Verna Wakefield, on a nice 75pts.
NTP’s were : 4th – Tracy Lee 500cm, 7th – Adel Dal Corobbo, 12th – Tracy Lee 170cm and 18th – Caroline James 92cm.
James Taylor had a great day out on Friday in the Medley nine hole comp, winning with 21pts, from Michael Pitto on 20pts.
Saturday saw the Ladies playing a 2 Person Aggregate Stableford for their Christmas break up. The pairing of Roylene Bailey and Selma Mayne amassed a winning score of a mighty 60pts, with Heather Klemm and Pat Riordan not far behind, sneaking into second place on 57pts.
NTP’s were : 12th – Marg Lampard and 18th – Heather Klemm.
There were three Grades competing in the Men’s Stableford on Saturday, with 40pts handing Larry Cavallaro the win in A Grade, in front of runner up, Simon Dale on 39pts.
Ula Henry (Red Cliffs) was the winner of B Grade, after his 39pts, leaving Chris Curley in second place on 38pts.
A count back was needed in C Grade, to split the winner, Bradely Missen, from Thomas Halton, both on 36pts. Balls went out to 33pts on a count back.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Josh Bailey 112cm, 7th – Allan McMaster 300cm, 12th – Luke Bergens 114cm, Sunbeam Fruits 17th – Alex Spooner 19cm and Good Deal Tyres 18th – Darren Gray 90cm.
Sunday’s Medley Stableford was contested in two Grades, with Michael Pitto carding a nice 39pts to take the win in A Grade. Dom Scullino had 37pts, to sneak into second place, after a count back, with Cooper Mitchell.
A fabulous 41pts came from Salli Fox in B Grade, to be rewarded with a win, in front of runner up Oliver Hobbs on 39pts. Balls went out to 34pts.
Will Heuzenroeder had the Dream Shot on Sunday, holing out on the 18th in one. Congratulations on an amazing memory to take from the day.

Lauris Hicks put her 15pts to good use in the Ladies nine hole Stableford on Tuesday November 26th, marking up a win. Second place went to Pat Riordan after a count back with Chitra Rankin, when both finished on 14pts.
Lauris also picked up the NTP on the 4th, with 240cm.
It was Par for the Members and Visitors on Wednesday, in two Grades, with the placings in both Grades all on an excellent (+4).
Frank Taperell came out with the win in A Grade, over Jason Marks, in second place.
Ryan Rigby snared the B Grade win, with Peter Welling, collecting runner up. Balls went out to (-1).

Thursday saw the Ladies up against Stroke and Adel Dal Corobbo came in with a lovely (95/71) win, from runner up, May Connolly on (112/74).
NTP’s were : 12th – Lirlene Crozier 230cm and 18th – Wendy Dawson 48cm.
Friday was a winner for Lindsay Mammone, after his 21pts in the nine hole Medley Stableford, with Callum Winslow in second place on 20pts.
Lyn Delmenico had a nice 35pts on Thursday in the Ladies Stableford comp, winning, over Tracey Bryan’s 32pts.

A count back was needed to determine the winner of A Grade and B Grade in Saturday’s Men’s Stableford.
Steven Smith had the better back nine in A Grade, to seize that win, from Josh Fleming, when both completed rounds of 36pts.
Harvey Spratt and Nathan Darby had sensational rounds of 41pts, in B Grade, with Spratt capturing the win, leaving Darby as runner up.
Nathan Walder had a very fine score of 39pts in C Grade, which handed him a comfortable win, in front of Todd George, who snuck in for second, after a count back with Gavin Jackson, both on 36pts. Balls went out to 33pts on a count back.
Alex Spooner played the Par four 10th perfectly, leaving with an Eagle.

Sunday’s Medley Stableford was played in two Grades and Dom Scullino had an outright win in A Grade, on a great 37pts. But a three way countback was needed to declare Ian Fleming the runner up, over Steve Scullino and Bruce Liddell, all on 35pts.
It was a little similar in B Grade, with Alex Heuzenroeder winning, after his amazing 41pts and once again, there were three vying for second place. Harry Heuzenroeder was the luck one, leaving Nic Carins and Kane Heeps just missing out, after all finished with 36pts. Balls went out to 34pts.
The Par five, second hole was kind to Craig George on Sunday, when he gathered an Eagle.

Monday the 18th was a very rare day, with only 15 in the field, but out of those 15, three players were lucky enough to leave with Eagles. Jarrad Stokker was the winner of the day, with a fine 39pts, in front of runner up, Greg King, on 36pts.
The very skilled Men who played some very precise shots, for their Eagles, were : Shawn Clarke on the Par five 2nd hole and Jarrad Stokker and Roberto Fuoco on the Par five 11th.
Jarrad Stokker also picked up the only NTP for the day, on the 7th, with 220cm.
The Ladies played Stroke on Tuesday in their nine hole comp, with May Connolly coming out on top, on a nice 34net, from Leonie Nott on her 35net on a count back over Roylene Bailey.
NTP’s were : 12th – Leonie Nott 999cm and 18th – Roylene Bailey 28cm.
The Members and Visitors contested their Monthly Award on Wednesday and Lukas Pedder had the overall best score of the day, with a mighty (79/67), to be rewarded with the Award.
After some great golf, Ang D’Amico was determined the winner of A Grade (82/69), after a count back against Trevor Williams (80/69).
Chris D’Amico also had a winning 69 net, after his 88 off the stick, giving him the B Grade win, from Neil Bryant’s (88/71). Balls went out to 74 net on a count back.

Connor Chatterton had a very good 22pts to be the winner of Friday’s Nine hole Medley Stableford, with Chook Baldock, runner up, on 21pts.
Wendy Dawson won the Ladies Stroke on Saturday on a lovely (93/73), with Rat Riordan grabbing second place, after her round of (96/75).
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Pat Riordan 95cm, 12th Pat Riordan 21cm and 18th – Wendy Dawson 115cm.
The Saturday Monthly Medal for the Men was played in three Grades and Kendall Marchment took out A Grade, with 74 off the stick and a winning 69 net, with Daniel Slorach (Coomealla) only one behind on (79/70).
Jayden Smith had a ripper day, completing his round on 81 off the stick to card a brilliant 65net to win the B Grade Medal and round of the week. Harvey Spratt would have been pleased with his (87/69), which handed him second place.
It was a day of fantastic scoring, with the winner of C Grade, Rory Kelly having a terrific round of (88/66), in front of Thomas Halton on (95/69). Balls went out to 74 net.

Sunday’s Medley Stableford was played in two Grades, with Michael Pitto using his 40pts to walk away with the A Grade win, over Roberto Fuoco, in second place, who had to wait for the results of a count back, with Josh Fleming, both on 39pts.
The best score of the day and equal round of the week, went to Marty Scott, after he sizzled around the course, finishing with an outstanding 45pts, two in front of runner up, Harry Heuzenroeder on an excellent 43pts.
The only NTP went to Wayne Innes, on the 18th, with 345cm.

Tuesday the 12th of November saw the Ladies enjoying Par, with a count back deciding Pat Riordan to be the winner, in front of Meg Hamence, when both finished on (+1).
Meg picked up the only NTP, with 980cm on the 4th.
It was Stableford for the Members and Visitors on Wednesday, in two Grades.
Lukas Pedder collected the win in A Grade, but not before a count back against Ashley Coates, after both had outstanding rounds, to mark up 43pts.
The B Grade win went to Travis Jobson, on a fine 39pts, over Justin Ebbels, with 36pts. Balls went out to 33pts on a count back.

Thursday was a sensational day for Leonie Nott, blitzing the field with her excellent 40pts, well in front of runner up, Lyn Delmenico on 35pts.

The nine hole Medley Stableford on Friday was a ripper by Xavier Erskine, pumping out a massive 27pts. Mathew Tiley used his luck to grab second place, in front of Roberto Fuoco and Jayden Grenfell, all on 22pts.
Pat Riordan once again came out on the right side of a count back, sneaking the win in the Ladies Stableford on Saturday, with both herself and Margie Lampard finishing on a lovely 39pts.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Roz Nash 195cm, 7th – Roz Nash 1500cm, Red Rooster 12th – Roylene Bailey 81cm and 18th – Margie Lampard 41cm.
In the Men’s Stableford on Saturday, the winning scores in A and B Grade were identical, but it was the C Grade winner who blew the field apart.
Tuarae Kirirua claimed the win in A Grade, after his fantastic 40pts, with Cooper Mitchell close behind on 39pts, for runner up.
Matt Piscioneri would have been extra pleased with his win in B Grade, when he inflated his points, with the assistance of a brilliant Hole In One on the 4th. Congratulations Matt, on your super 40pt win and the amazing memory you will have from the fourth hole. Andre Willis (Robinvale) was in second place on 39pts.
The round of the week must go to the C Grade winner, Jasper Robins, after he burnt his way around the course for a magnificent 46pts. Bradley Missen was declared runner up, after a count back against Gavin Jackson, both landing a very nice 40pts. Balls went to 35pts on a count back.

Zack Wilson was the winner of B Grade, with his 41pts, but Jace Monaghan had to get the better of two others, to be runner up. Tom Colbert and Lindsay Mammone just miss the placings, when all three finished on 37pts. Balls went out to 36pts.

Monday November 4th was a Medley Stableford, which saw Lukas Pedder leaving with the win, on a very pleasing 39pts. David Gardiner grabbed runner up after a count back against Tod George, both on 37pts. Balls went out to 33pts.
Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup day Stableford, was played as an Orange Tee event, with Luke Bergens smashing out a terrific 43pts, for his win, in front of Russell Lamattina very close behind on a great 42pts. Balls went out to 36pts.
Josh Fleming would have been holding his breath on the 18th, when his ball came so close to a hole in one, stopping only 2cm’s away.
The Members and Visitors comp on Wednesday was won by Billy Stephens after a wonderful round of 40pts, over Malcolm Kalms on 39pts. Balls went out to 34pts on a count back.

The Ladies had their annual Oaks Day event, with this years game being a Canadian Foursomes. The Pair of Kathy Ridley and Leonie Nott had an outstanding 69.75 net, to be very happy winners. Wendy Dawson and May Connolly put together a 79.62 net to take second place. A very delicious Lunch and social afternoon was enjoyed by all the Ladies, many of whom took advantage of Oak’s day Dress.

Once again Keith Willis has walked away with the win in Monday's Medley Stableford, this week with a fine 36pts. John Denman came out the better, to be runner up, after a count back with Greg King, both on 35pts.
NTP’s were : 7th – Ken Upton 980cm and 18th – Ken Upton 650cm.
The Ladies played a 4 Ball Better Ball in their nine hole comp on Tuesday , with the pair of Meg Hamence and May Conolley winning on a nice 23pts, over Val Berry and Selma Mayne on 22pts.
NTP’s were : 4th – Selma Mayne 600cm and 7th – Selma Mayne 310cm.
Wednesday’s Stableford was played in two Grades with a terrific score of 41pts giving Barry Pilgram the win in A Grade, from Michael Holcroft on 37pts.
Lukas Pedder also had a great round, coming out on top with 40pts, just one in front of Paul Scott (Coomealla) on 39pts. Balls went out to 34pts on a count back.

Heather Klemm’s Day on Thursday was Stableford with a Twist, where all the Ladies played single Stableford and were drawn out with another player in the field, once all scores were in. The very happy, winning pair on the day, with the best combined points, were Jen Leach on 43pts and Lirlene Crozier on 31pts, totalling a lovely 74pts.
NTP’s were : 4th – Tracy Lee 1210cm, 7th – Heather Klemm 206cm, 12th – Wendy Dawson 198cm and 18th – Wendy Dawson 136cm.
Friday’s nine hole Medley Stableford was won on a count back, by Mathew Tiley, over Ben Hunt, both on 21pts.
Saturday drew a big field and saw the Men playing in three Grades.
Josh Bailey made the most of his 37pts, taking out A Grade, in front of runner up Alan McMaster on 36pts, after a count back with Tim O’Neill.
A mighty 44pts from Rocky Pipicella gave him the B Grade win, but just by a smidge, as Greg Barila came in second, very close behind, on another super score of 43pts.
It was Brayden McGregor though, who smashed out a whopping 45pts, to win C Grade, who also snatched the round of the week, over runner up, Fletcher Ryan’s wonderful 42pts. Balls went out to 34pts on a count back.
Two clever Men pulled out Eagles on Saturday, with Tuarae Kirirua on the Par five 14th hole and Anthony Harmes on the Par five 11th hole.
NTPs’ were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Gary Keen 84cm, 7th – Simon Dale 150cm, Sunbeam Fruits 17th – Grant Giddings 400cm and Deakin Estate Wines 18th – Craig Jervies 315cm.
Steph Baker has been playing some brilliant Golf and has lowered her Handicap down to 2, which makes her 34pt win on Saturday exceptional. Second place was determined by a count back, with Lyn Delmenico getting the better on Marie Hudak, when both finished on 33pts.

Sunday’s Medley Stableford saw two Grades being contested, with Anthony Harmes and Michael Pitto completing their rounds on an excellent 40pts. Harmes had luck running on his side, collecting the win in A Grade, over Pitto.
Alan Svensson (Sandy Creek GC) had the best score of the day, with an outstanding 41pts, giving him the B Grade win, in front of Larry Simonetta on 39pts. Balls went out to 35pts on a count back.
The only NTP for the day, came on the 12th, from Bruce Liddell 505cm.

Keith Willis played a good game on Monday the 21st, in the Medley Stableford, winning on 37pts, from Rob Arnold on 36pts. Balls went out to 34pts.
It was Stableford for the Ladies on Tuesday, in their nine hole comp, with Adel Dal Corobbo taking the win, on 19pts. Verna Wakefield was runner up, after a count back with Caroline James, when both ended there games with 18pts.
The only NTP for the day, came from Caroline James, on the 4th 745cm.
Wednesday’s Par was played in two Grades, with fantastic scoring in both.
Dale Meredith was the winner of A Grade with a super (+5), followed by Michael Holcroft on (+3).
Lukas Pedder smashed out the best score in B Grade, with a sensational (+6) to be the winner and come wind up with the top score of the week. Runner up went to Jordan Appleby after his great (+5). Balls went out to Square on a count back.

Friday’s nine hole Medley Stableford had to come down to a five way count back on 19pts, which lead to Oliver Zambelli winning, Kane Heeps in second place and George Moraitis, Brad Winslow and Mathew Bird missing out on the placings.
It was Stroke for the Ladies on Saturday and Salli Fox put together a lovely round of (89/73) to collect the win, over runner up, Tracey Bryan (97/75) after a count back with Heather Klemm (98/75).

Cooper Mitchell was rewarded with the Medal in A Grade after his great round of (82/69). Second place went to Roberto Fuoco (82/71).
George Moraitis kept his good form going from Friday, to pick up the Medal in B Grade, on a exceptional (87/68), in front of Matthew Bird (83/69).
The C Grade Medal went to Todd George on a mighty (95/68), with Benjamin Ave runner up on (96/72).
David Williams had a perfect score on the Par four, ninth hole, leaving with an Eagle.

The week started off with a mighty good score from Gavin Minter, flying home with 42pts, to win the Medley Stableford on Monday the 14th , with Roz Nash landing runner up, with a nice 38pts. Balls went out to 35pts.
The only Nearest the Pin for the day was on the Zizlie Wines 4th, by David Gardiner.
It was Par on Tuesday for the Ladies, in the nine hole comp. Carol Benning had a great day, finishing on a (+3) to take the win, in front of Pat Riordan in second place on (+2).

Wednesday the Members and Visitors played Stroke, which incorporated the Monthly Award. The overall best score for the day came from Colin Johnston, with an absolute blinder, handing him the Award, after a mighty (87/63).
It was a count back in A Grade, which declared Claude Dawson as the winner, in front of Andrew Forbes, after both finished on (85/71).
There were some excellent scores in B Grade as well, with Bradley Missen on top, with his cracking (93/67), over runner up, Matt Highdale’s on another great score of (94/68). Balls went out to 74 net on a count back.

One Lady had a day out on Thursday and it wasn’t just to take a leisurely stroll. Pat Riordan not only picked up the win on a lovely 38pts, after a count back over Kathy Ridley, she also threw in an Eagle on the Par four 15th, playing two perfect shots, a feat not often seen in Women’s Club Golf. Congratulations and well played Pat.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Lyn Thompson 70cm, 12th – Lisa Garioch 230cm and 18th – Pat Riordan, a Birdie.
The nine hole Medley Stabeford on Friday was won by Brett Harvey on 21pts, from, Jason Beard, in second place 20pts.
Adel Dal Corobbo had a nice win in the Ladies Stableford on Saturday, with 39pts, from Lisa Garioch on 37pts.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Heather Klemm 370cm, Zilzie Wines 7th – Janette Mason 430cm, 12th – Lisa Garioch 255cm, and 18th – Heather Klemm 620cm.
The Men contested Par on Saturday, in three Grades.
David Williams collected the win in A Grade on (+1), with Michael Holcroft in second place after a three way count back against Tim Peterson and Roland Tankard, all finishing square.
Kevin Burke had a super day, leaving with the win in B Grade, on (+4), with another three way count back needed to decide runner up. Neil Bryant snatched that honor, from Tony Cardew and George Andriolas, all on (+3).
It was a massive (+7) from Duane Ebbles that took out the C Grade win, followed by runner up, Neville Cooke, who just pipped Daniel Jones, when both completed their rounds on a lovely (+5). Balls went to (-1) on a count back.

It’s been a week of fantastic scores and Ian Fleming’s winning 42pts just added to those, when he won Sunday’s Medley Stableford, with Jack Cook only one behind on 41pts, to nab second place. Balls went out to 35pts on a count back.
Riverside Golf Results for w/c October 7th 2024
With some amazing Golfing weather over the last week, members and visitors have been hitting our Fairways to enjoying the sunshine and fine tune their swings.
Sally Watson was certainly happy with her game on Tuesday in the Ladies nine hole Stroke event, coming in with her best nine hole score of (49/34), for a lovely win.
NTP’s were : 12th – Roz Nash 126 and 18th – Sally Watson 95cm.
Wednesday’s Stableford for the Members and Visitors was played in two Grades, with Gregory Doolan (Gainsborough Greens GC) collecting the win in A Grade, after a three way count back, which left Wayne Innes in second place and Graham Southwell missing the placings, all on 39pts.
Matt Highdale’s 38pts gave him the B Grade win, over Ray Cottle, close behind on 37pts. Balls went out to 35pts on a count back.

Thursday was a Stroke event, together with the Medallist of the Year Play off. The winner of the Daily Comp was Lisa Garioch, with a fantastic (81/70), in front of Selma Mayne (105/73) Balls went out to 74 net.
Congratulations to Heather Klemm, winning the 2024 Medallist of the year on a fine 75net.

Friday saw a big field, with many checking out the course before Pennant on Sunday. Jeff Wilkie smashed out a winning round of 22pts, from runner up Zack Winslow, after a battle against Josh Fleming, with both on 21pts.
The Ladies Saturday comp was a Stableford, with a terrific 39pts giving Tracey Bryan the win and a count back putting Janette Mason in second place, over Lisa Garioch, both on 38pts.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Lisa Garioch 74cm, 7th – Steph Baker 925cm, 12th – Janette Mason 79cm and 18th – Salli Fox with a Birdie.
There were three Grades in the Men’s Stableford on Saturday, with some super scores being produced.
Joel Doherty snared the win in A Grade, with an excellent 41pts, from Jarrad Stokker, who had to content with a count back against Steve Scullino, when both finished on 40pts.
Shane Crossling also landed a first rate 41pts to be handed the B Grade win, with another count back giving Ian Fleming second place, over Isaiah Faulkhead on 39pts.
Jack Hibberd must have been totally focused on his game, winning C Grade, after a pleasing 40pts, well in front of his nearest rival, Todd George, on 35pts. Balls sent out to 35pts on a count back.
Riverside Golf Results for w/c September 30th 2024
The winner on Monday September 30th, in the Veteran and Friends Stableford, was Samuel Longeri, after his terrific score of 42pts. Oliver Cooper was second, but not before a count back against Gavin Minter, both on a fine 40pts. Balls went down to 36pts.
NTP’s were : 7th – Samuel Longeri 210cm and 18th – Samuel Longeri 365cm.
Marie Hudak put in another winner on Tuesday in the Ladies nine Hole Stableford, with a nice 18pts, over Roylene Bailey’s 17pts. Balls went to 15pts on a count back.
NTP’s were : 7th – Carol Benning 490cm.
The Men’s and Visitors Stableford on Wednesday was played in three Grades, with the winners of each Grade, finishing on the same score, of an excellent 40pts.
Lachlan Smith collected the win in A Grade, with Lachlan Faulkhead coming in second on his 39pts.
Samuel Longeri kept his winning run going, to take out B Grade, with 39pts from Greg King leaving him as runner up.
Oliver Cooper was on top in C Grade, in front of Kevin Challis, with his 36pts, picking up second place. Balls went out to 34pts on a count back.
The Par five 11th hole rewarded Rodney Jarrett with a memorable Eagle.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – David Byrnes 239cm, 7th – Tim Peterson 120cm, 12th – Peter Schroeder 580cm and Good Deal Tyres 18th – David Brynes 45cm.
May Connolly couldn’t have been happier with her win in the Ladies comp on Thursday, completing a round of 37pts, in font of runner up, Verna Wakefield, on 35pts. Balls went to 33pts.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Leonie Nott 361cm, 12th – Chitra Rankin 177cm and 18th – Lirlene Crozier 21cm.
Friday’s nine hole, Medley Stableford, saw Zack Winslow’s leaving with the win, after a super 24pts. Reece Plummer was runner up, after a count back with Martin Dane, both on 21pts.
It was Stableford for the Ladies on Saturday, with 36pts giving Lyn Thompson the win, one in front of runner up, Janette Mason on 35pts.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Janette Mason 247cm , Zilzie Wines 7th – Adel Dal Corobbo 1450cm, 12th – Selma Mayne 450cm and 18th – Lyn Thompson 530cm.
It was three Grades for the Men on Saturday in their Stableford and Joshua Furey was the winner of A Grade on 39pts, with Josh Bailey getting the better of Glenn Walker in a count back for second place on 37pts.
Ken Upton had a great day, winning B Grade on a fantastic 41pts, Davison Mbindi wasn’t far behind with his 40pts, to be runner up.
Luke Jeffers had the winning score in C Grade, with 39pts, over Neville Cooke, on 38pts.
There were two Men on Saturday who came away with an Eagle. Ashley Johnstone on the Par four 17th and Craig Jervies on he Par five 14th.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Ken Upton 75cm, 7th – Chris O’Brien 398cm, 12th – Michael Wade 520cm, Sunbeam Fruits 17th – Ash Johnstone 0cm and Deakin Estate Wines 18th – Gavin Graham 275cm.
Sunday’s Medley Stableford brought the round of the week, when Alex Spooner burnt up the course with a comfortable 43pt win, in front of Wayne Sievewright on 39pts. Balls went out to 35pts.
There must have been something in the air this week, with Sunday bringing up the fourth Eagle, after Alex Spooner played two perfect shots on the Par four 17th, which would have helped him with his great score.
