Riverside Golf Results for w/c February 10th 2025
Monday the 10th was a Stableford and a win for Roberto Fuoco, after his 34pts, with Brian Young in second place after a count back, against Keith Willis, both on 32pts.
The Ladies nine hole Stableford saw Tracy Lee winning on a nice 22pts, over May Connolly’s 19pts.
The only NTP went to Roz Nash on the 12th, with 149cm.
Chris D’Amico had an outstanding day, pumping out 42pts, for a comfortable win, in front of Bodan Bishop, with 39pts. Balls went out to 34pts.
NTP’s were : 4th – Greg King 170cm, Cookes Pools and Spa’s 7th – Ang D’Amico 398cm, 12th – Graeme Southwell 930cm, Sunbeam Fruits 17th – Chris O’Brien 836cm and Good Deal Tyres 18th – Dean Vance 190cm.
Lisa Garioch had a wonderful win on Thursday in the Ladies Stroke event, after finishing on a lovely (82/73). Selma Maynes showed age is not a barrier, picking up second place with a fine score of (108/75), but not before a count back with Lyn Delmenico (104/75). Balls went to 75 net.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Lisa Garioch 1130cm, 12th – Wendy Dawson 38cm and 18th – both Lisa Garioch and Suzy Conquest with Birdies.
The nine hole Medley Stableford on Friday needed a count back to determine George Moraitis the winner, over Zach Winslow, after both completed great rounds of 23pts. Balls went out to 16pts.
Janette Mason played well on Saturday in the Ladies comp, using her 36pts to win, over Adel Dal Corobbo’s 34pts. Balls went out to 33pts on a count back.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Tracey Bryan 490cm, 7th – Roylene Bailey 440cm, 12th – Roz Nash 8cm and 18th – Roz Nash 43cm.
It was Stableford and three Grades on Saturday for the Men, with the A Grade winner, Ian Dickason having a mighty 40pts, over Rob Garioch, close behind on 39pts, picking up second place.
Another 39pts in B Grade gave Tony Coppola a win, from Phillip Teopenga, runner up, on 37pts.
John Denman was five points in front of his nearest rival in C Grade, taking away the win, over second place, Ian McGlashan, on 35pts. Balls went to 33pts.
NTP’s were : Zilzie Wines 4th – Graeme Southwell 133cm, 7th – Michael Wade 407cm, 12th – Mitchell Cooper 680cm, Sunbeam Fruits 17th – Steve Wilmann 170cm and Good Deal Tyres 18th – Kevin Eastwood 830cm.
It’s been very refreshing to have the cooler weather over the last few days. Sunday Medley Stableford was played in two Grades, with Lachlan Highdale collecting 38pts, for a win in A Grade, just one in front of Bodan Bishop on 37pts.
Phillip Hammat produced a terrific 40pts and was rewarded with the B Grade win, from runner up Ben Hunt on 37pts. Balls went out to 34pts.
NTP’s were : 7th – Claude Dawson 790cm, 12th – Shawn Dawson 247cm and the 18th – Ang D’Amico 599cm.
