Riverside GC Junior Golf Academy
First Academy clinic was successful & finished with Billy Cumming taking out the most improved - mainly because nearly every ball he hit was “straight “, his attitude was exemplary & manners spot on. The most important part was that he came in with zero knowledge & had to start from scratch. Our most improvement is based on more than just the ability to hit a ball. I might add that each child seemed to soak up info like a sponge! A pleasure to work with them all.

Lockdown Continues - Booking Sheets
Due to the recent announcement by the State Govt, Riverside GC will continue to adhere to playing in 2s and no comps. As a result all timesheets from Sat 16th to Friday 22nd have been deleted and will be made available for members from 2pm today 15th October.
Lockdown VIII Continues - Groan, but we are open.
Good news, although a lockdown is in place for 14 days commencing 11.59pm 8 October, we are open. However conditions of play are in place. Members can view these conditions at One Golf.

Zilzie Platinum Thursday Twilight
A new fun 9-hole Stableford event every Thursday for the duration of Daylight Savings. This is a 9-hole Stableford social event starting from 2pm each Thursday. The timesheet will be blocked from this time for competitors to turn up, join up with others waiting and hit off.
This is a socially handicapped event (not Golf Australia) where you handicap is reflective of your previous performances. Scores will be on scorecards created for the event.
If you win the night, you receive a bottle of Zilzie Platinum wine, 6 points and lose 4 strokes. Then 2nd (5 points), 3rd (4 points), 4th (3 points) & 5th (2 points) all win $10 Club credit and lose 2 strokes. All those who don’t place receive 1 point and 1 stroke added onto their handicap for the next week. This is a cumulative event with Zilzie sponsoring the Major prizes for the most points accumulated during the season.

Hole In Ones - Lyn Thompson and Nick Goodieson
On Saturday 18th of September while playing the 4th hole, Lyn Thompson achieved her first hole in one. On Friday 17th of September Nick Goodieson had a hole in one on the 7th. Congratulations to both of them.
